Contemporary - Garden retreat

Located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this contemporary and restful space emulates the feel of a luxury spa.

Origin designed, built and installed the pool chamber, pool finishes and a suitable environmental control system. This was a collaborative project with the building, being designed and undertaken by Jane Duncan Architects + Interiors. The pool hall was finished with atmospheric wall lights above the pool to further enhance the essence of luxury, as well as a sauna and gym which provide a multi-functional space for exercise and family time.

The interior of the building connects with the fabulous garden landscaping through large sliding doors, which truly bring the outdoors in. On particularly warm sunny days, or when more privacy is required, the Brise Soleil timber panel offers shading to the sliding doors. Minimising excessive heat from entering the building in the summer months has a direct impact on our mechanical plant room equipment, ultimately increasing the energy efficiency of the building.
